Seal Exhibition (now till August) |
|
Gallery Rm 119 houses the HKUST Library’s – Big Picture in Tiny Space: From Ancient Qin-Han Seals to Modern Seal Carving exhibition from Apr 28 till Aug 31. Over 200 ancient and modern seals of the Qin and Han dynasties from seal and seal album collector Mr Lam Cheung Chung are being displayed to allow the University Community a rare glimpse of the vastness and exquisiteness of the Chinese seal culture. |

Shaw Auditorium will bring to you film screenings of popular and interesting titles with local and international elements; our first screening will be Love After Love (第一爐香) (2020) directed by renowned film director and screenwriter Ann Hui (許鞍華) who will be the guest speaker for the post-screening sharing on May 25. Stay tuned for more details.
For music lovers, look no further than the Shaw Auditorium where the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study will present the Music Alive! Solo Piano Recital with Hong Kong born and renowned young talent Aristo Sham on May 27. Registration details will be made available soon. |

The Summer will see various University events being hosted at the Shaw Auditorium, including the President Outstanding Service Award, HKUST-Sino One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition, U-Choir annual performance, HKUST Start-up Showcase Day, Project Melo Summit, and many more!
For those who are interested in theater and entertainment arts, don’t miss out the Theater Arts Workshop organized by Media Technology and Publishing Center, with a second cohort to begin very soon! Students are most welcome to join and experience first-hand the backstage magic of theatrical lighting, audio, AV system, and gain some practical experience in how to operate the first-class equipment at the Shaw Auditorium.
